Millie Bobby Brown Feels “So Lucky” To Have ‘Stranger Things’ Co-Star David Harbour

With Stranger Things embarking on its final season, Millie Bobby Brown is leaving behind-the-scenes rumors in the Upside Down.

While reuniting with co-star David Harbour at Thursday’s Season 5 premiere, the 2x Emmy nominee raved that she’s “so lucky” to have her onscreen dad in her life for nearly a decade since the Netflix show premiered.

“It’s been amazing. We’re so lucky to have each other,” Brown told Extra. “The show means so much to the both of us, and to everyone here. This has been the last 10 years of our lives.”

Despite reports to the contrary, the pair seemed to get along great as they shared a hug and a laugh while posing together on the red carpet Thursday at TCL Chinese Theatre, ahead of the Part One premiere Nov. 26 on Netflix.

Netflix shared a video to Instagram of the pair celebrating “one last Stranger Things premiere” after the Duffer Brothers’ show premiered in 2016.

Brown stars in Stranger Things as the psychic-powered Eleven, who escapes Hawkins National Laboratory in Season 1, where she was subject to experiments with the Upside Down. After escaping the facility, Harbour’s Jim Hopper ends up adopting her.

Season 5 continues in the fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, with the characters united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

The highly anticipated fifth and final season will release on Netflix across three premiere dates with Volume 1 on November 26 (four episodes), Volume 2 on Christmas (three episodes), and The Finale on New Year’s Eve. Each volume releases at 5 PM PT.
