Marjorie Taylor Greene Joining Bill Maher On ‘Real Time’ For Halloween-Day Episode

Before she braves The View next week, Marjorie Taylor Greene will make her debut appearance on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher this Friday.

The House member representing Georgia’s 14th district has of late surprised some supporters with her willingness to criticize some of President Donald Trump’s positions. Traditionally one of Trump’s most ardent loyalists, Greene has broken with the administration by making public her hope that the Epstein files will be released. She has also broken with GOP Congressional leaders and urged an extension of ACA subsidies.

Maher, for his part, drew criticism in April for accepting an invitation to dinner with Trump at the White House. The Real Time host called Trump “gracious and measured” during his visit, and promised his proximity to power would not influence his jokes.

Maher has since gone after Trump just about every week, though he did recently dismiss the demolition of the East Wing of the White House, calling it “just a building.”

Maher continued, “The symbolism is, he’s not leaving. That’s what bothers me about it. Who puts in a giant ballroom if you’re leaving?” he added. “OK, but that’s the issue, not the building.”

Friday’s Real Time also features a one-on-one interview with Dan Farah, writer, producer, and director of the documentary The Age of Disclosure. Joining Greene and Maher for the panel discussion will be Michael Moynihan, co-host of The Fifth Column podcast and host of The Moynihan Report.
