NBC has shared the first glimpse at its upcoming broadcast special, Wicked: One Wonderful Night.
Ahead of the theatrical release of Wicked: For Good, the network transformed the iconic Dolby Theatre for the musical event that features swankified performances from the cast of the films including Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Marisa Bode, Ethan Slater and Bowen Yang.
The performances, which reimagined the musical arrangements of some of Wicked‘s most memorable songs, were supported by a 37-piece live orchestra led by the award-winning musical director Stephen Oremus and dance numbers choreographed by Christopher Scott.
The first-look photos released Tuesday, which are embedded above and below, give viewers an idea of what to expect from the thrillifying event, set to air on NBC November 6.

In addition to musical numbers, audiences can expect cast interviews, clips from behind-the-scenes moments, and even a sneak peek at what’s in store in the film conclusion. Per NBC, Wicked: One Wonderful Night will world premiere snippets from the two new original songs from Wicked: For Good, “No Place Like Home” and “The Girl in the Bubble.”
