EXCLUSIVE: Writer, director, producer, actor, editor and stuntman Nash Edgerton has signed with Anonymous Content for representation.
Multi-hyphenate Edgerton made his feature film directorial debut with the 2008 Australian film noir The Square, written by his brother and frequent collaborator Joel Edgerton. He went on to direct the 2018 Mexico-set action caper Gringo, starring David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton, and Amanda Seyfried.
Edgerton co-founded Blue-Tongue Films, an Australian film collective and production company behind FX’s dark comedy crime drama series Mr Inbetween, which Edgerton directed and executive produced for all three seasons. The company has also produced several feature films, including Judy and Punch (Vice Media), a fairytale black comedy that Edgerton produced; and Netflix’s The King, an epic historical drama on which he served as second-unit director.
Most recently, Edgerton served as setup director on Netflix’s Bodkin, an Ireland-set black comedy thriller starring Siobhán Cullen, Will Forte and Robyn Cara. He also directed the short film Candy Bar, written by Damon Herriman and starring Herriman alongside Edgerton’s daughter, Zumi Edgerton.
