After a month of training for Dancing with the Stars, Danielle Fishel‘s rehearsal for this week’s episode resulted in “girl meets floor.”
The Boy Meets World alum recently showed off the massive bruise on her leg after sustaining an injury shortly into Season 34, previously revealing that she tore a hamstring during rehearsal for the ABC competition series.
“How I talk to my knees after 4 weeks of rehearsal and 2 live shows,” she wrote with a video on TikTok of herself lip-syncing the Destiny’s Child song ‘Cater 2 U’ to the wound, adding in the caption: “I promise my leg feels better than it looks.”

Paired with pro Pasha Pashkov, Fishel revealed during Week 2, ‘One-Hit Wonders Tonight’, that she suffered a “snapped tendon,” which does not require surgery and her doctor is helping manage.
“I have a hamstring tear that happened here at dance, and then I had a deep tissue massage, and it broke every blood vessel in the back of my leg,” she said on Entertainment Tonight.
“Thank god for body makeup, because honestly, Val saw me the other day, walking into a fitting. And he was like, ‘What in the flesh-eating disease is going on with your leg?’” added Fishel. “So, it’s pretty crazy. But honestly, I feel really good. From the moment it happened, I have been very proactive about taking care of myself, because I don’t want anything to stop this injury early for me.”
Fishel assured, “When the playoffs are over, I will rest.”
Despite the injury, Fishel danced through the cha-cha-cha for Corona’s ‘The Rhythm of the Night’, scoring a 19 for the episode. Next week’s ‘TikTok Night’ will see her and Pashkov performing the foxtrot through ‘Manchild’ by Sabrina Carpenter, airing Tuesday at 8pm ET on ABC.
