Everything We Know About ‘Gen V’ Season 2 So Far

Gen V, the first spinoff of Eric Kripke’s The Boys series at Prime Video, will soon return for another season.

Season 1 of the college-set installment arrived almost two years before Season 2 will hit the small screen. With one more season of The Boys still set to arrive as well, some crossover between the two is expected.

“The shows talk to each other. So Season 4 of The Boys sets up Season 2 of Gen V. So now, Homelander has taken over America,” showrunner Michele Fazekas teased to the crowd at the Gen V panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. “Now, we get to see what that looks like — what that looks like for the country, what that looks like at the school, and then what the resistance is going to start looking like.”

Will Gen V Season 2 pay tribute to Chance Perdomo?

Yes, showrunner Michele Fazekas revealed how Season 2 will honor the late actor, who died in a motorcycle accident at the end of March 2024.

“[That was] probably the No. 1 thing we wanted to do,” Fazekas said of commemorating the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alum. “Just watching the show and watching even just the trailer for it … we did it so long ago and I remember being in the writers’ room and talking about how important it was to honor him. And then when you watch the show, he exists throughout the entire season. It was, in many ways, about Andre and about Chance. And, yeah, I’m very proud of that actually.”

Perdomo’s death resulted in a delay of production for Gen V Season 2, as it occurred the day the cast was supposed to get together for the first table read ahead of work on the next installment.
