EXCLUSIVE: Noah Mills (NCIS: Hawaiʻi) has joined the cast of the CBS medical drama Watson for its second season, premiering Monday, October 13.
The series will reunite Mills with series lead Morris Chestnut, who plays Dr. John Watson. The pair previously starred opposite one another on NBC’s The Enemy Within as series regulars. Mills also joins the recently announced Robert Carlyle, who will play the legendary literary detective, Sherlock Holmes.
Watson is a modern version of one of history’s greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries. While Dr. John Watson’s team of “doc-tectives” may have defeated Moriarty (Randall Park) last season, they remain determined in Season 2 in their mission to investigate and treat the world’s rarest diseases for their clinic’s patients.
With his eyes fixed on the future, Watson faces an unexpected twist when Sherlock Holmes, who was presumed dead, resurfaces, forcing him to confront a buried secret from his past — one that lies hidden within his own body.

In a recurring role, Mills will play Beck Wythe, who has newly returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh after blowing up a career in Silicon Valley with reckless, risk-seeking behavior. He meets Ingrid Derian (Eve Harlow) in group therapy for people trying to manage their Cluster B personality disorders. The two of them form a bond that may be exactly what they need to rebuild their lives—or might be just the latest dangerous indulgence for both.
Watson also stars Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, Inga Schlingmann, and Rochelle Aytes.
Executive producers include showrunner Craig Sweeny, Chestnut, Larry Teng, Shäron Moalem, Aaron Kaplan, and Brian Morewitz. Watson is produced by CBS Studios.
Mills most recently starred in the series regular role of Jesse on NCIS: Hawaiʻi for CBS. Additional TV credits include Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, ABC’s The Baker and the Beauty, 2 Broke Girls for CBS, and NBC’s The Brave, portraying Joseph McGuire, a mixed martial artist and the team’s medic. He also starred in Sex and the City 2 on the big screen as Nicky. Mills has had a successful career as a high-end model and has been the face of campaigns for Tom Ford, Dolce and Gabbana, and Giorgio Armani. He is repped by the Gersh Agency and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
