‘Buffy’ Reboot: Merrin Dungey, Audrey Hsieh & Audrey Grace Marshall Join Hulu Pilot

EXCLUSIVE: Merrin Dungey (The Lincoln Lawyer), Audrey Hsieh (Found) and Audrey Grace Marshall (The Flight Attendant) have been cast in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot, which has a pilot order at Hulu. They will be guest stars in the pilot, with the characters conceived as recurring if the project goes to series.

Ryan Kiera Armstrong stars as the new slayer — an introverted high-school student named Nova — in the untitled Buffyverse offshoot, which Sarah Michelle Gellar executive produces in addition to reprising her signature role as Buffy Summers.

Dungey will play Ms. LaDuca, the college counselor at New Sunnydale Academy. Hsieh and Marshall play Keiko and Jessica, respectively, high school students and members of the academy’s Evangelical Christian group.
