EXCLUSIVE: Chad Rook has joined Netflix‘s My Life with the Walter Boys as a recurring guest star for Season 3, Deadline has learned.
The actor will appear in at least four episodes of the third season, which begins filming in Calgary soon, Deadline understands. Details about his character are not yet available. Netflix declined to comment.
The news comes ahead of Season 2, which lands on Netflix on August 28. My Life with the Walter Boys was renewed for a third season in May.
Based on the book by Ali Novak, the My Life with the Walter Boys follows Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) as she moves in with her late mother’s best friend Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) who has nine sons and one daughter.

Returning series regulars in addition to Rodriguez and Rafferty include Marc Blucas, who plays Katherine’s husband George, Noah LaLonde who plays Cole Walter, Ashby Gentry who plays Alex Walter, Connor Stanhope (Danny Walter), Johnny Link (Will Walter), Corey Fogelmanis (Nathan Walter) and Jaylan Evans (Skylar Summerhill).
Season 2 also added five recurring cast members to the fold — Natalie Sharp (Wilderness), Carson MacCormac (Shazam!), Janet Kidder (Star Trek: Discovery), Riele Downs (Bel-Air) and Jake Manley (The Order).
Rook is an actor, director, writer and producer who has appeared in franchises like The CW’s The Flash and 20th Century’s War for the Planet of the Apes. His other television credits include Siren, Virgin River, Supernatural, and Timeless. More recently, he also appeared in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
