EXCLUSIVE: Former longtime Gersh talent agent Mike Staudt is transitioning to management. He has joined Vault Entertainment as manager/producer. He started today at the company’s offices in Culver City.
Staudt was the most prominent name among the four agents who recently departed Gersh. He had been there for more than a decade, having joined the agency in 2015 from CAA. Staudt is known for launching Hollywood careers for international action stars and martial artists — a focus he will continue at Vault. Most of his clients are expected to stay with him in his new role as a manager and follow him to the new company.
Founded in 2019 by Adam Griffin, Vault Entertainment had added industry veteran Craig Baumgarten and longtime talent agent Justin Baxter over the last couple of years. Baumgarten, who oversees Vault’s productions, previously shared clients with Staudt, with the two expected to continue to work closely together.
