‘Interview With The Vampire’s Eric Bogosian To Crossover In ‘Talamasca’ As AMC Unveils Trailer & Premiere Date

Anne Rice’s Talamasca, the latest spinoff of AMC’s hit vampire universe, is adding a familiar face.

Eric Bogosian, who portrays investigative journalist and author, Daniel Molloy, in Interview with the Vampire will reprise his role, guest starring as a crossover character in Talamasca.

Bogosian, a cynical journalist in his 70s with Parkinson’s disease and a long history of drug and alcohol abuse whose interview with Louis in 1973 ends with him being attacked and is later summoned to redo their interview.

The announcement was made on a panel in Ballroom 20 at San Diego’s Comic-Con that featured stars Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Celine Buckens, showrunners John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty and Mark Johnson, who oversees the Anne Rice Immortal Universe.

Elizabeth McGovern also stars with Jason Schwartzman as guest star. 

The series focuses on a secretive society called the Talamasca, comprised of the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe.

It is set to launch on October 26.

Produced by AMC Studios, Anne Rice’s Talamasca is executive produced by Hancock (The Blind Side) and Lafferty (Halt and Catch Fire), who also serve as co-showrunners, Johnson and Tom Williams along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice. Hancock also directs.
