Ginny & Georgia dominated the Nielsen streaming charts with the release of Season 3, putting up 2.88B minutes during the week of June 2 to 8.
Season 3 landed on Netflix June 5, though Nielsen doesn’t differentiate between seasons when measuring viewing. Nielsen didn’t say exactly how much of this audience was for the new season. However, the company did report that it was the fourth-best week for a streaming title so far in 2025, behind the week after the premiere of Squid Game Season 2 and the return of The Night Agent.
Second place on Nielsen’s overall streaming list during this interval was The Accountant 2 with 1.38B minutes viewed after landing on Prime Video following its brief theatrical run. It’s pretty rare for a film to make it into the Top 5 simply because series usually boast far longer run times, which makes this feat quite an impressive one.
The original 2016 film The Accountant has also been in the Top 10 movie rankings for a few weeks now and took fifth place this week with 308M minutes across Max and Prime Video.

The TNT crime drama Animal Kingdom came in third, appearing to benefit from its recent arrival on Netflix. The series racked up 1.1B minutes viewed. Netflix also took fourth and fifth place with Dept. Q and Straw, respectively.
Unsurprisingly, Love Island USA soared back onto the charts in eighth place overall with the premiere of Season 7. The series tallied 772M minutes viewed during the week that Season 7 kicked off, which is a stellar start for the U.S. iteration. As Deadline has reported, Love Island USA‘s latest season has been smashing viewership records for the series.
Interestingly, Stranger Things also crept back onto the Streaming Originals list at No. 7, amassing 441M minutes viewed after Netflix finally announced the release dates for the final season. This speaks to the strength of the franchise, despite a lengthy hiatus between seasons.
