‘Love Island USA’s Casa Amor Ends: All The New Couples After Recoupling

SPOILER ALERT: This post contains details about Love Island USA Season 7, Episode 22.

After a week in Casa Amor, the Love Island USA Islanders would return to the main villa and face some tough decisions.

The Peacock dating series split the Islanders between Casa Amor and the main villa, forcing all of them to recouple for the first time in the show’s history.

Amid the recoupling, Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenbergh were dumped after failing to connect with someone. However, the Islanders were not ultimately dumped and were set up on a date where they were given an option to couple up or leave the island.

Olandria and Nic decided to give their connection a shot, playing into viewers who were already shipping “Nicolandria.” The two returned to the main villa but after sharing a kiss decided they had no sparks and were still committed to their partners before Casa Amor.

The girls returned to the main villa but were not told Olandria and Nic had been saved. Cierra was under the impression that Nic had been dumped and her love connection had been lost. Olandria and Nic later joined the villa, with Cierra running toward Nic, making Elan lose hope about his future in the villa.

The biggest Love Island USA Season 7 recoupling following Casa Amor took place after everyone was reunited in the villa. Host Ariana Madix said each Islander had to write down the name of the person they wanted to couple up with and would have to match each other’s names; otherwise, they would be left single and vulnerable.

Austin and Jaden both chose each other and matched. Amaya’s turn was next with Zak and JD writing her name down to couple

Islanders left single and vulnerable with the names of the person they wanted to couple up with: JD (Amaya), Zac (Iris), Vanna (TJ), CoCo (Ace), Elan (Cierra), and Olandria (Taylor).

The most shocking moment of the recoupling was Taylor choosing Clarke over Olandria, who said she was left “disappointed” by the decision, as she had given him the space to explore a connection.

With six Islanders at risk of being dumped, Madix announced one boy and one girl would be saved. The Islanders who were in the main villa would save a girl, and the Islanders at Casa Amor would save a boy.

The vulnerable Islanders who were ultimately saved and given another shot at love were Elan and Olandria.

JD, Zac, Vanna, and CoCo were ultimately dumped from the island.
