Pedro Pascal Doubles Down On J.K. Rowling Slam: “Bullies Make Me F*cking Sick”

Pedro Pascal is doubling down on his criticism of J.K. Rowling over the Harry Potter author’s celebratory comments regarding a recent United Kingdom Supreme Court ruling against the transgender community.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the former Last of Us actor expresses no regrets for calling Rowling’s gloating comment “heinous loser behavior.”

“Listen, I want to protect the people I love,” Pascal, whose younger sister is Lux Pascal, a transgender actress and activist, tells Vanity Fair about his Rowling slam. “But it goes beyond that. Bullies make me f*cking sick.”

Two months ago, after the UK court ruled that a woman is defined by biological sex, Rowling posted on X, “I love it when a plan comes together.”

In the Vanity Fair interview, Pascal says about his “heinous loser” comment, “The one thing that I would say I agonized over a little bit was just, ‘Am I helping? Am I f*cking helping?’ It’s a situation that deserves the utmost elegance so that something can actually happen, and people will actually be protected.”

Pascal is currently starring as Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
