Mark your e-calendars: We have the date for the 2026 ACE Eddie Awards. American Cinema Editors said today that its 76th annual ceremony is set for Friday, February 27, at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Westwood.
Voting will take place from January 12-22, and the honorary society’s nominations for outstanding editing in film, television and documentaries will be revealed on Tuesday, January 27.
“The ACE Eddie Awards are a celebration of the incredible artistry and dedication of editors who are essential to the storytelling process,” ACE President Sabrina Plisco said. “We are excited to recognize the outstanding work of our colleagues at the 76th annual ceremony.”
The group’s honorary award recipients are TBA. Two Career Achievement awards will be presented to film editors of outstanding merit, and the Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year honor will be given to a filmmaker who exemplifies distinguished achievement in the art and business of film.

Wicked, Emilia Pérez and The Wild Robot took the top film prizes at the 75th anniversary Eddie Awards in March, with Shōgun, Baby Reindeer, What We Do in the Shadows and Frasier among the TV honorees.
