EXCLUSIVE: Off Fairfax, described as a provocative pop culture conspiracy comedy, from Rell Battle (Roast Battle), brothers Yassir (The Gutter) and Isaiah Lester (Black-ish), and Stephen Curry and Erick Payton’s Unanimous Media, is in priority development at Amazon MGM Studios.
Created and written by Battle, Off Fairfax revolves around Quinn, who is still reeling from his mother’s disappearance 20 years earlier. Quinn leads a misfit group of local hood sleuths on hilarious missions, with each solve kicking off the next episode’s investigation, until all the puzzle pieces ultimately lead them to the truth about Quinn’s mother’s disappearance.
Yassir and Isaiah Lester serve as co-showrunners. Ingrid Escajeda (Griselda, Silo) executive produces via her Sugarwitch Productions with Curry and Peyton via Unanimous Media.
