V10 Entertainment Hires Former Paramount Exec Samantha Cooper To Head International Licensing Out Of New York

EXCLUSIVE: V10 Entertainment, the parent of Vin Di Bona Productions and Fishbowl Media Worldwide, has a new international sales chief from a new East Coast office.

Samantha Cooper has been named Head of International Licensing and Business Development. She will oversee V10’s newly-established New York office, focusing on global licensing, library acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

Reporting to V10 President and former Paramount colleague Carter Skeath, veteran distribution exec Cooper will oversee V10’s recently acquired global distribution rights for America’s Funniest Videos and sales of library titles including Follow Me, Totally Funny Kids & Animals, Blue Collar Auction and World’s Funniest Videos, along the upcoming original sports docuseries Arch Racing with Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger, which is set to premiere in Q1 of 2026.

Cooper is known for holding senior roles at Viacom and subsequently Paramount Global, most recently as Executive Vice President, Global Content Licensing. V10 said she oversaw billions of dollars in revenue, including architecting $1B+ in SVOD streaming revenue from Paramount Pictures’ film library, CBS, Showtime, MTV Entertainment Group, and Nickelodeon as well as original content from Paramount+, Viacom International Studios and CBS News/Films.

She also helped negotiate Paramount’s first advanced advertising deal with Netflix’s programming and ad teams. Further back when serving as Paramount’s Senior Vice President, Content Distribution and Business Development, she led partnership and deal renewal negotiations with Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Cablevision and AT&T.

“Sam combines unparalleled experience negotiating content deals with the ability to navigate large-scale media-company growth,” said John Stevens, CEO of V10. “Her accomplishments across linear and streaming for top film and TV franchises will be a tremendous asset for V10 as we level up our global footprint with IP and licensing.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Sam while at Paramount Global,” added Skeath. “Her reputation, leadership, and performance track record are best in class among global media executives. Sam’s addition is a significant step in V10’s journey as we continue to opportunistically expand our library, production, and global partnerships.”

Skeath joined V10 earlier this year. This came after the Clarion Capital-backed company formed in 2023 by acquiring Venture 10 Studio Group, Fishbowl Media and America’s Funniest Home Videos maker Vin Di Bona Productions.

“V10’s ideal industry position as a fully integrated, private equity-backed media company with a vast portfolio of IP provides a tremendous opportunity to tap into key markets abroad and find new audiences,” said Cooper. “I am excited to be joining John and Carter who have developed a dynamic team culture that welcomes new perspectives and ideas as the company further leverages its production, distribution and content development expertise to a global market.”

The group has a library of more than 2.6 million digital assets and creates around 250 hours of original content annually to program 44 owned channels. V10 production companies make shows for the likes of Prime Video, Discovery and HBO Max, Roku, NBC and Peacock, ABC, CBS and The CW.
