Amazon revealed two NFL matchups set for Prime Video‘s 2025 schedule on Black Friday and Christmas Day during its Monday night upfront presentation to advertisers in New York.
The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Chicago Bears on Black Friday, November 28. Amazon has carved out the day after Thanksgiving as a new NFL slot over the past two seasons. Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football schedule aligns this year with Christmas, and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Denver Broncos on TNF this season.
The opponents and dates come ahead of the NFL’s schedule reveal on Wednesday. At Fox’s upfront, the network announced a Week 16 doubleheader it will have exclusively in December. Netflix last year unveiled a multi-year deal for NFL games on Christmas. Its upfront is set for Wednesday.
After its holiday games, Prime Video will also air an NFL wild card playoff game in January.

Jay Marine, VP and global head of sports and ads, Prime Video, said viewership of last year’s Black Friday game grew more than 40% over the inaugural edition in 2023. “We’re equally excited to present a Christmas thriller between the Chiefs and Broncos in prime time, featuring some of the biggest names in the sport.”
The holiday shopping season, Marine said, stands as one of the most critical stretches of the year for advertisers and retailers looking to attract the massive audiences that congregate around major events. Prime Video has an unparalleled sports lineup during this important period, as well as a targeted, full-funnel offering that cannot be matched.”
