Walton Goggins does not want to talk about his White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood and shut down an interview after repeated mentions of her.
Following the season finale of the HBO anthology series, there has been speculation that Goggins and Wood fell out. Fans on social media noted that the actors had unfollowed each other on social media by the show’s finale, despite exchanging pleasantries in an Instagram post following the wrap of filming.
During an interview with the UK’s The Times to promote The Uninvited, Goggins was asked about his friendship with Wood and he said, “I’m not gonna have that conversation.”
Goggins’ American publicist said, “We’re not going there, thank you,” and the British publicist added, “Next question.”

The Righteous Gemstones actor will be guest-hosting Saturday Night Live on May 10, the NBC sketch show that parodied The White Lotus poking fun at Wood which the actress said was “mean and unfunny.” Goggins reacted to the sketch by resharing the video and saying, “Hahahahahhahaha amazzzingggg.” The actor would later delete the post.
The British publicist intervened in the interview and suggested, “Shall we talk about The Uninvited a bit more?”
Goggins laughed sarcastically and said, “Thinly veiled, my friend. The thing you’re least interested in.”
The reporter brought up Wood again and Goggins says, “There is no conversation to be had about that. Sharing politics on social media — it’s in a vacuum. What the f***, Ed! Come on buddy. Wow.”
The American publicist intervenes, saying, “We’re going to end it there.”
