This year’s Tony Award nominations will be announced by previous Tony winners Sarah Paulson and Wendell Pierce on CBS Mornings Thursday, May 1.
The select nominations will be broadcast live on the morning show at 8:30 a.m./ET, with additional nominations announced at 9 a.m./ET on the Tony Awards official YouTube page. A complete list of nominees will be available at TonyAwards.com immediately following the announcement.
The 78th Annual Tony Awards will air live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sunday, June 8 (8–11 p.m./ET and 5–8 p.m. ) Hosting this year is Cynthia Erivo. In addition to CBS, the ceremony will stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
The Tony Awards are produced in collaboration with Tony Award Productions, a joint venture of the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League, and White Cherry Entertainment. Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss are executive producers and showrunners for White Cherry Entertainment. Weiss will serve as director.
