Father-and-son duo, Lost co-showrunner Carlton Cuse and Nick Cuse (Masters of the Air, Station Eleven) are in very early development on a Star Wars series from Lucasfilm, sources confirm to Deadline.

No details on the project are being revealed. This marks father-and-son’s first formal project together.

Prolific Emmy-winning writer-producer Carlton Cuse served as co-showrunner with Damon Lindelof on Lost which aired on ABC for six seasons. He recently created and served as showrunner for the first two seasons on Prime Video’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. He also developed and executive produced, with John Ridley, Five Days At Memorial for Apple TV+ and developed and served as writer, director, and showrunner (with Meredith Averill) on Locke & Key, based on the graphic novels by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. Most recently, Cuse served as executive producer/co-showrunner alongside creator Zoe Robyn of Netflix’s medical drama Pulse.

Nick Cuse worked with Lindelof on Watchmen and The Leftovers. His other credits include writer-co-executive producer on Station Eleven and consulting producer on Masters of the Air.
