Glenn Powell is suited up and hitting the field in the first teaser trailer of the new Hulu series Chad Powers, premiering in the fall. The video can be watched above.
From co-creators Powell and Michael Waldron, the half-hour comedy follows hotshot QB Russ Holliday (Powell), whose bad behavior nukes his college career. As a result, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.
The brief teaser gives an inside look at Holliday’s transformation. With the help of a wig and some facial prosthetics, he gets a second chance to achieve his dreams.
“I got something coming up, and it’s something kind of big,” he said in the clip while speaking to an unknown person.
