EXCLUSIVE: Australia‘s Goalpost Pictures had laid out a new formation in its management ranks.

Founding partners Rosemary Blight and Kylie du Fresne have assumed joint CEO roles, as the company gears up to launch Season 2 of Stan and Sundance Now drama Black Snow.

Under the new structure, fellow founding partners Ben Grant and Cass O’Connor remain with the company, with Grant continuing his executive producer role and O’Connor in her non-executive chair and strategic advisor positions.

“We have a unique and valued creative partnership formed from working together across many successful projects,” said Blight and du Fresne in a statement. “It feels like a natural step for us to take on the roles of joint CEOs as we deepen our relationships with partners both in Australia and internationally and guide the company during a time of accelerated growth, scale and ambition.”

Producers on Black Snow, Blight and du Fresne are also known for producing features such as The Invisible Man, Carmen and Top End Wedding. Black Snow Season 2, starring Travis Fimmel, will launch on Stan in Australia on New Year’s Day and will return to U.S. audiences via AMC Networks’ Sundance Now and BBC in the UK in 2025.

Meanwhile, Blight and du Fresne have promoted production executive Milly Olrog to producer. She was recently co-producer on Black Snow 2, having joined the company five years ago. In her previous role, she worked across the company’s film and TV slate, as well as independently-producing short films.

“Milly has proven herself to be a creative, brave and hugely capable and we are thrilled to give her the opportunity to step up into a producer role with the company,” said Blight and du Fresne in the statement. “We have a busy slate for the foreseeable future and we are excited to see Milly’s contributions.”

Goalpost’s Top End Bub spin off series, starring Miranda Tapsell and Gwilym Lee, will debut on Prime Video in Australia and New Zealand in 2025 and is being launched for worldwide sales by ZDF Studios at next week’s Content London.

Du Fresne will be presenting drama series Cooper next week, alongside Nimrod Geva, producer and Head of Development at Quizzical Pictures and Ava Knight, Fifth Season’s Director of Acquisitions. The show, set in 1950s South Africa and based on Malla Nunn’s darkly romantic crime novels, follows English detective Emmanuel Cooper working in the racially divided country.
