Chernin Entertainment has two new television bosses.
The company, which is part of Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company, has promoted Tracey Cook and Kaitlin Dahill to leave its television division.
The pair, who have both been with the company for years, will continue to report to Chernin Entertainment President Jenno Topping.
There have been plenty of rumors across town about the future of Chernin Entertainment’s television operation, particularly after former Showtime exec Amy Israel joined The North Road Company last year as President of Television.
Cook and Dahill are responsible for several upcoming Chernin Entertainment series including Netflix’s Man on Fire starring Yahya Abdul Mateen II and The Madness starring Colman Domingo and Apple’s Chief of War, created by and starring Jason Momoa.

They have previously worked on See, starring Jason Momoa, and Truth Be Told, starring Octavia Spencer, both for Apple, as well as P-Valley for Starz and New Girl for Fox.
Cook has been with Chernin Entertainment for 11 years, having started in the company’s film division, where she worked on Paul Feig’s Spy and Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children.
Dahill is also currently developing a series starring The White Lotus’ Meghann Fahy written by The Girls on the Bus’ Amy Chozick as a Sweet Valley High series with Fake Empire. Prior to joining Chernin Entertainment, Dahill was an executive at Marvel Television. She began her career in production, working on four seasons of Jason Katim’s NBC series Parenthood.
Topping said, “Tracey and Kaitlin are among the industry’s most talented executives. Their contributions over the past decade have been integral to Chernin Entertainment’s success, which in turn powered the growth of the broader North Road portfolio, and they have positioned us for continued success by spearheading our exceptional upcoming slate. Their elevation to head the television division is one of many ways we are addressing the opportunities in this shifting marketplace, as we become more nimble and creative in identifying new talent and content.”
