Agatha All Along is reportedly Marvel Studios’ least expensive live-action Disney+ series to date, not even reaching the $40 million budget of the Echo series.

According to THR’s Heat Vision report, Agatha All Along is Marvel’s least expensive live-action series to date, significantly so. Marvel Television has recalibrated its shows, and that may now be paying off.

The Agatha All Along premiere episode received 9.3 million views in its first seven days on Disney+.

Jac Schaeffer created the ‘WandaVision’ spin-off show, is based on the Marvel Comics character Agatha Harkness. The show stars Kathryn Hahn returning as Agatha Harkness, Joe Locke as Teen, Ali Ahn as Alice, Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale, Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, Debra Jo Rupp as Sharon Davis/Mrs. Hart, Miles Guiterrez-Riley as Eddie, Paul Adelstein and Maria Dizzia as Jeff and Rebecca Kaplan, Emma Caulfield-Ford as Dottie Jones/Sarah Proctor, Evan Peters as Ralph Bohner, and Kate Forbes as Evanora Harkness.

The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…
