A ‘meh’ biopic, it left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. The space sequences are impressive, and Ryan Gosling’s performance as Neil Armstrong is subtle, reflecting his character’s quiet intensity. The film’s emotional tone is often cold and distant, making it hard to fully connect with the characters, including as @fumilayo (Ayo Edebiri) review mentions Claire Foy’s dialect coach and her frustrations with the dialect used; and I agree it did not feel natural enough. Throughout the movie, the characters didn’t feel cohesive enough to become as “one” with the movie.A lot of missed opportunity that could have made this film much better
